Your role on the team:

The Junior Project Manager will work with our Senior Project Manager and Senior Business Lead, helping keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.

You’ll help manage timelines, budgets, meetings, resourcing, and production. You’ll also learn how integrated marketing projects are planned, delivered, and measured across a wide range of disciplines including strategy, advertising, media, digital, production, design, PR, and experiential (don’t worry if you don’t have experience in all those things, we have the experts who are happy to help you learn).

Success in this role comes from being organized, proactive, curious, and willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team deliver great work. Previous experience with financial services clients is an asset but not mandatory.

Primary tasks:

  • Support the Senior Project Manager in the planning and execution of larger client projects
  • Independently manage smaller projects and production initiatives from kickoff through delivery
  • Build and maintain project timelines, workbacks, status reports, and meeting notes
  • Schedule meetings, capture actions, and follow up on next steps
  • Coordinate and manage resourcing for internal teams, external partners, and client stakeholders to keep projects moving forward
  • Open jobs, maintain project documentation, and ensure files are organized and up to date
  • Track project budgets, estimates, hours, and invoices, escalating concerns when required
  • Assist in the development and coordination of production briefs and manage production deliverables
  • Assist with scope management and help identify potential timeline or budget risks
  • Monitor project progress and proactively communicate updates to the broader team
  • Support quality assurance reviews to help ensure deliverables are complete and accurate to project requirements
  • Learn the agency’s processes, tools, and ways of working while continuously building your project management skills

You definitely need:

  • 1-3 years of project management, account management, coordinator, or related experience in an agency, marketing, communications, consulting, or creative environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfort working with budgets, timelines, and project details
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high degree of attention to detail
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn
